The BridgeWorks Small-Business AI Visibility Report 2026
A public anonymized field report on why capable small businesses remain difficult for AI-assisted search to discover, understand, corroborate, and recommend.
Public anonymized edition, prepared by BridgeWorks in Budapest. Evidence base: six scored audits, three public mini-scans, and one implementation verification.
Core finding
AI visibility is usually not one missing technical file. It is a coordination problem across crawl access, entity clarity, answer-ready content, structured information, third-party corroboration, and conversion.
What the report found
Across the six scored audits, every business began with a material machine-readable identity gap, weak structured information, and an incomplete or unverified local-profile signal. Five of six had a meaningful sitemap or discovery problem.
Proof boundary
The anonymized B2B services engagement moved from a BridgeWorks GEO and AI-visibility diagnostic score of 16/100 at baseline to 77/100 at engagement close. That shows audited infrastructure and content signals improved. It is not a citation, traffic, enquiry, or revenue guarantee.
Unfinished proof stays private
The active hospitality implementation remains an anonymized process observation until live-domain cutover, subscriber-path testing, search tooling, handover acceptance, and production evidence are complete.
